History

In 2019, Vilma Puche and her son, Abdo Jattin, purchased a small wine shop and tapas style restaurant in Coconut Grove, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Miami. At the time, the wine store had roughly 200 wine labels and a relatively small but very good tapas menu. The new owners changed the name to Happy Wine in the Grove and started their journey of turning their 2,200 sq foot location into a true wine shop marketplace with wine labels from all over the world.

Happy Wine in the Grove is now a 4,200 sq foot location, as it is the only tenant in the stand alone building located at 2833 Bird Avenue, Miami. Happy Wine in the Grove is a true wine market full of endless racks of wine in both the first and second floor, a full-service restaurant with expanded menu on the first floor, and a VIP wine cellar and private event room for up to 60 guests on the second floor. We are currently home to over 3,500 wine labels from wineries located all over the world – USA, France, Italy, Spain, Argentina, Chile, Hungary, Greece, Portugal, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and more.

Our wine selection caters to all palates – from wine enthusiasts to wine connoisseurs to wine masters, and everything in between. Our wine selection is sure to please even the most discerning palates and budgets, In the last year, our collection has grown extensively in older vintage, rare and hard to find wines opening a whole new market, which can be purchased in our online store or in our restaurant. We offer live music on Friday and Saturday nights and are a rustic mainstay for our patrons in our Coconut Grove location.
